Technical Support

If you wish to use a Bible-study tool for which technical support is available, please purchase Bible Navigator.

Since this tool is available to the sponsoring organization at a nominal cost, and you have received it at little or no cost, neither they nor the publisher are able to offer personal assistance in using the tool or resolving problems that the tool exhibits or causes on your computer system.  However, in order to continue to improve the tool, we would appreciate a description of any problems that you may encounter.  Please send an email to BibleViewer@lifeway.com and include a thorough description of the problem and the steps that you took that led up to the problem.  Please include a description of your computer system and operating environment, e.g. Windows XP with Internet Explorer 6.0.

We will not be able to respond to your email, but your input will be considered in our future plans for this tool.  If you email us with respect to a problem, please accept our apologies for the problem as well as our apologies that we are not staffed to provide you with personal help or even a response acknowledging receipt of your email.

Scripture Toolbar

When the viewer is displaying a Bible passage, use the Scripture toolbar to navigate anywhere in the Bible:

When you see a bullet or footnote by a word in scripture, point your mouse at it to get further information.

You may click on footnotes to expand them.  Expanding a footnote is especially helpful if it contains a reference to another scripture.  Once expanded you can point your mouse at the scripture reference in the footnote to see the text of the verse(s) in a pop-up, or click the link to open the Bible to that passage.  Use the Back arrow to return to the previous passage.

The Text-Size icon in the tool bar may be used to increase or decrease the size of the display text.  Note that this setting may also change the size of your text in your web browser.  Look for Text Size options under the View menu of your web browser.
